First Astros Game

We took Hunter to his first Astros game to celebrate Scott's first Father's Day.

Look how excited he looks.

Thank goodness my work gave us suite tickets becuase he fell asleep half way through the game and we were able to put him inside where it was quiet and he slept in his stroller.

Hunter's Favorite Past Time - Swimming

Hunter loves to be in the water. He is a little fish and gets upset when he has to get out. Here are a couple of pictures from his pool days.

He is going to kill me for this one later on in life.

And here is the grumpy Hunter who was upset he had to get out.

First Baby Pool

Hunter got his first Baby Pool yesterday. It was so hot that I had to make a special trip to Walmart to go get him a pool so we could chill out. He got his first bathing suit, hat and sunglasses on. We got lots of toys and jumped in. He lvoes and the water and loves splashing in it. You definitely better be ready to get wet if he is in the pool or the bathtub.

First Cereal Feeding

Hunter had his first bites of cereal. We had so much fun watching him make faces. He didn't know what to think of everything at first but he definitely figured it out when he realized he was getting food. He really wanted to try to feed himself a couple of times. He caught on real quick that if he opened his mouth then a spoon full of yumminess would appear.

Hunter's Baby Dedication

We dedicated Hunter to the Lord on May 3rd in front of all his family and First Baptist Church of Katy.
It was a great service and then we went to eat lunch at his Great Grandmother's house. He had three Great Grandparents, all four Grandparents, two honorary Grandparents, all four Aunts and Uncles, one cousin and one on the way and some friends all there to support him.

Easter 2009

We started off Hunter's first Easter with a wonderful Church service. We then went home to take a nap before we went out to Maggie's for dinner. We got some much needed rain and then it cleared up for a bright and sunny Easter day.

Hunter in his Easter outfit.

We had a wonderful meal that Maggie prepared and had all the immediate family there to watch Matthew, 17 months, find some hidden Easter eggs. He was very good at finding the eggs but the eggs kept falling out of his basket. The good news is that he got to turn around and find those eggs all over again. Hunter just chilled out in Maggie's red wagon during the egg hunt.

Maggie bought the boys matching shirts so we tried to get a picture of them together and this is the best that we could get. Matthew doesn't like to sit and take pictures.

We spent Easter Eve over at Scott's parent's house and had a delicious meal with his family. I think that I have a new second favorite dessert, Strawberry Pie. Hopefully Hunter will like sweets like his Mommy. Scott and I decided to take the Wii over so they bowled, boxed and played tennis all night. It was a good time had by all. Hunter was all smiles and talked all night. Soon he will be playing Wii with all of us.

Hunter's First Day of School

I went back to work yesterday for the first time in 12 weeks. It was actually a good day. I figured I would cry all day until I got to go pick up Hunter from daycare but I didn't. I only cried a little on the way to drop him off and when I was actually in his room but as soon as I left I put my mind on something else. He cried the whole way to the school but stopped as soon as we got there. I took these pictures right when we got there so he was a little on the grumpy side.

His teacher said he did great and so I guess we will go back again today. Hopefully he won't be as grumpy.
